Creating a Custom Matrix
- A “Matrix” is used to add your own customized “Categories” into the Bionetics software. Once created they can be used in multi-channel scans as well as single channel point testing and imprinting. Any substance can be added, some examples are: vitamins, essential oils, blood, saliva, vegetation, hair etc. You can truly get creative with matrix creation. When adding items into the matrix the “Imprinter” well is used, substances should be placed in a bottle or other water tight container. The “Imprinter” WELL on all devices are NOT moisture/water resistant!
- “Matrices” are split into 2 parts: Matrix and Substances
- The “Matrix” contains the name of the “Category” for the single “Substances” you want to utilize. To create a Matrix, open the “Matrices” option on the main screen of the Bionetics software. This will open the “Matrix Manager”.
Once open, click on “New,” this will activate the “Enter Matrix Name” window. *Correctly naming the Matrix is important for easily identifying where your substances will be added. Such as a manufacturer or class of substances. Once the Matrix is named click “OK” and the “Color” selection window will pop up. Choose a color and click “OK”. You have now created a new Matrix!
*After Matrix creation, you can change the “Name”, “Delete”, “Undo” or “Redo”. If you need to change the name of a Matrix, make sure the desired Matrix is selected and change the name in the “Matrix Name” box then click “Save”. You have the choice to add information into the “Matrix (Description)” box, add the desired information and click “Save”.
- The second part of creating a Matrix is to populate the Matrix that you just created with substances. A Matrix can contain unlimited substances. *The most common mistake is adding a substance to the incorrect Matrix so be sure that the correct Matrix name is highlighted! Have your substances ready to be placed into the well for imprinting.
- As mentioned above substances can be virtually anything; a product line to a crystal, as long as you can fit it or a sample of the substance into the imprinter well. Insure the substance is not contaminating the imprinter well by using a container IE: bottle or ziplocked baggie.
- To add a substance highlight the desired Matrix then click on “Add Substance”, this will activate the “Add Matrix Substance” window. Type in the substance “Name”, *you can add “Manufacturer” name and “Description” information but this is NOT a requirement. If you decide to add information into the “Description” field, using right click and then left clicking on “Description” will show the added information in Single-Channel. Once all information is added AND the Substance is inserted into the Well of the imprinter, click on “Save and Imprint”. Your imprinter will activate, you will hear and see (lights) in the Well until the imprint is complete. Follow these steps to continue adding substances to all of your Matrices.
*If you don’t want to “Imprint” the substance, but just add a name to a Matrix press “Save” instead of “Save & Imprint”.
- Now that you have created Matrices you can utilize them in Multi or Single-Channel scanning. In Multi-Channel, ALL Matrices will be located at the Bottom of your list in the “Select List” window. Click “Select List”, choose the pre-made “List” you want (right window), then scroll to the bottom of the left window, highlight the desired Matrices to add to the list and click “Load” to add the new list to the scan.
- In Single-Channel you can utilize a Matrix by opening the “Matrices” tab. Matrices act as any other category: Double click to open a specific Matrix, then you have the ability to use the Matrix content.
- Once opened you have the option to do Point-Testing or to “Optimize” items for “Hold” files and “Imprinting”. For convenience, you have the option to put Matrices in different list order.
*See “Basic Scanning Instructions” for further details on “Single-Channel” protocols.
